As a veterinarian I care about animals, as well as people. I was shocked to discover that the livestock sector produces more greenhouse gas emissions, than all the cars, trucks, buses, plains and other transportation, worldwide, and is one of the greatest causes of species extinctions. As I learnt more about the staggering numbers of both farmed and wild animals impacted by the sector, and the severe public health consequences of overconsumption of livestock products, I realised that this was an issue, where animal welfare, human health and environmental preservation all came together. The world desperately needs to reduce the adverse impacts of the livestock sector. This website represents part of my own effort to make a difference. I hope you will join me. With enough of us, we could really make an impact.
